The ViewBrighton Review

Since Fifty sprang onto the London scene it has made quite an impact - Londoners certainly like all of their fun under one roof.

The Venue
Housed in a magnificent five-storey townhouse with a sweeping, marble staircase (watch those post-absinth heels, gals), much of Fifty is strictly members’ only, so you’ll have to join yourself or find a high-roller to whisk you upstairs to the casino gaming rooms.

The Atmosphere
If betting’s not your bag, don’t worry - Fifty is like a mini late-night theme park for discerning sophisticates.

The Food
Take your pick from V, the fine diner from Jean-George Vongerichten (the prolific New York restaurauteur also responsible for Manhattan’s Spice Market and Vong), and an Asian restaurant on the ground floor.

The Drink
Salvatore’s bar is run by the legendary bartender Signor Calabrese, who’s sourced some of the world’s finest cognacs for his display cabinets. Grown-up and atmospheric, this bar is all about low-lighting, intimacy, darling barmen and fabulous cocktails.

The Club
In the basement lies the Eighties/futuristic club Fifty Below, from Marc Merran, of Chinawhite and Aura renown. The uplit catwalk running through it and integrated TV screens on the tables allow cross-club spying.

The Last Word
From the impressive exterior to the fabulous choice of entertainment at your fingertips, Fifty is a unique club of the highest calibre.
