The spelling of this bar's name may seem like a teenage attempt to make it seem more quirky but in fact it's an upfront pre-club DJ bar and it's all the better for its lack of frills.

The Venue
Suga Qube is very much a city centre party bar, which gets phenomenally busy at weekends. Its contemporary styling includes a predictable mix of wooden floorboards, leather armchairs and sofas, exposed brickwork and potted plants. However, there's nothing predictable about a night at Suga Qube, save to say that you're going to have a bloody good time.

The People
I'm a party animal, I am. I'm mad fer it, me...and the crowd certainly are. Arms wave in the air, heads nod to approval at every track and grins stretch from ear to ear.

The Drink
Kronenbourg, Kronenbourg Blanc and San Miguel are on draught and bottled beers include Corona and more unusually, Claustahaler. There's a choice of 130 drinks behind the bar and spirits are served in more generous 35ml measures than the regular 25ml so make sure you pace yourself especially during happy hour on Mondays with two for one cocktails all day. That's one mother of a Tuesday morning hangover.

The Last Word
A small party bar which gets loud and packed at the weekend, Suga Qube is one of Brighton's favourite pre-club DJ bars.
