Children can’t get enough of Christmas so visiting the Santas grotto at Churchill Square is certainly one of the essential family-friendly Christmas events taking place in Brighton. Time to start making your list and checking it twice!

Family Friendly Father Christmas
Father Christmas certainly doesn’t do things by halves. Every year he spends Christmas Eve scrambling up and down chimneys delivering presents to good little boys and girls so he’s decided to arrive at Churchill Square Shopping Centre in style. The opening event for the Santas grotto at Churchill Square takes place at 12pm on 14th November when Santa arrives on his sleigh accompanied by carol singers and plenty of mince pies.

Home From Home
He’s spent most of the year in the North Pole so it’s no wonder that he’s eager to spend some time in Brighton, looking at children’s Christmas wish-lists. Children will be able to visit the Santas grotto at Churchill Square throughout the day, all the way up until Christmas Eve. Half an hour slots are available to pre-book in advance or you can just turn up if you’re shopping in the area and fancy hearing those familiar ho, ho hos.

Christmas Gifts
Of course it wouldn’t be Christmas without gifts. The presents are piled high in the Santas grotto at Churchill Square and every child will be given a gift. Toys are available for children of all ages so there’ll be beaming smiles all round. Each booking allows up to four children to visit Father Christmas and they can even have their photo taken with him too.

The Santas grotto at Churchill Square Shopping Centre is open every day from 14th November – 24th December 2009 and costs £4 per child.

Session times vary each day but each booking lasts half an hour. Up to four children can visit the grotto per booking.
