Had a very mediocre meal here earlier this week. The Lamb was £17 for a tiny portion, which was dry, overcooked and luke warm. It was served with soggy overcooked pak choi, a bland potato cake and some thin gravy. I could not believe they could get away with charging so much - very unimpressed. Others ordered £17 steaks which came with a few small carrots. . Staff were efficient and friendly and the drinks were fine but would not reccomend this place to eat. Really disappointing.

Having just held our wedding at The coach house I will probably sound bias. But having been to this restaurant after going twice in a year, this is by far the best place to have a wedding reception, we looked at many. Brilliant amazing food/drink.They are very hard working and made the whole process before during and after so easy for us, we had nothing to stress out about and knew they had everything in hand. The staff could not do enough and the food was non stop. Fantastic place,so much so that guests who travelled over 6 hours did not want to leave.Brilliant location with many great comments from our guest. Could not ask for anything more.

The setting was lovely but the Coach House was let down in our opinion by the poorly executed and over priced food. Although tasty the lamb and the baramundi were both way overcooked and the dessert served to me didn't actually match the description on the menu, I don't mind the odd tweak as long as I'm warned before or at least as I order it.

There are better places in Brighton to spend your money.
