This is one of the best Bar, I have ever been into. Great selection of drinks, professional staff and the black barman is great. He is a great laugh and very sophisticated.
I am sorry ablout the other guys below but he sound that they wanted to get really drunk and the staff refused to serve any longer as they have a duty of care to their customer. Really nice place. Will go there again

I must agree with the two guys above, the Cubar is definitely totally out of context in Brighton. Is a really plain avenue, wallpaper music, nothing Latin at all. The dudde behind look like he don't like that you are there. It is a really good avenue for exchange students, because they don't know the good places in Brighton.

Hi man I was there and that evening they stop serving drinks at 12:25pm on a saturday. It was ridiculous for them, they are just creating a bad reputation in Brighton! How can you run a business with no word and awful costume service? A Pub which don’t let the customers know that they are closing is totally out of context in Brighton!

This is probably one of the worst places in Brighton if you want to rent for a party. The pub manager is totally unprofessional. The last time I gave a party there the agreement was that we had the place until 2pm. At 12:30 he stopped serving drinks at the bar without telling anyone, basically he finished the party, his mates arrived and they started have drinks there. Totally unprofessional. Action of unreliablility like that can give the Cubar a really bad reputation in Brighton. This party had more than 80 people imagine that. Bad!

has definitly benefitted from the refurb, is a nice bar, i like their range of wines
