This salt-of-the-earth boozer is a good place to kill a few hours playing darts or bar billiards over a pint of real ale.

The Venue
A corner pub situated on a road running parallel to Southover Street and only a short walk from The Greys, The Albion Inn is a Hanover locals’ pub with a real ale hook. The drinking area is set around a central bar with a dartboard and bar billiards table to its right and old photos of Brighton on the walls. There’s a beer garden around the back which seats about a dozen people so in summer, prepare to squeeze up.

The People
A salt-of-the-earth boozer, it's frequented by regulars from the nearby flats and high-rises who've been going there for years.

The Food and Drink
There are real ales on rotation, including Tanglefoot and Hard Rugger. Otherwise there’s Stella, Fosters, Strongbow, Scrumpy Jack and Castlemain. And in bottles the pub stocks Budweiser, Becks, Fosters Ice, Magners and brown and light ales.
