The Prestonville Arms is a traditionally styled pub in a sleepy corner of Hamilton Road in Seven Dials. It's a welcoming space with its open fire in the winter and patio area that's popular in the summer. The pub is decorated with pictures and prints of times gone by such as Victorian crockery and old beer mats, and there's not a jukebox or a fruit machine in sight. The pub also displays works by local artists who tend to frequent the pub.

The People
It's a popular place with locals and embraces a wide age range so on any given night you can expect to see a shaggy haired student deep in conversation with a seventy year old who looks so much a part of the pub he may as well have been carved into the bar.

The Food and Drink
The Prestonville Arms has five different Fullers bitters and real ales on tap including the highly recommended Discovery. There's also an excellent range of wines and spirits if you're not a fan of pints. The food menu combines basic pub grub with more ambitious dishes. Dishes include black bream marinated in spices; asparagus, roasted pepper and parmesan fritatta; and an unusual duck curry, priced from £6.95.
