The venue & atmoshphere One of four Tin Drums in Brighton, all the venues tend to cater for all tastes, from hungry shoppers and wine lovers to beer drinkers and pre-club cocktail guzzlers. The management makes sure there's a constant flow of people all day, from the breakfast and cappuccino crowd in the morning to the alcohol and party crowd at night. This St James Street site has outside seating in a small railed-off area and is spacious inside with its chunky wooden tables and low leather sofas inside. There is a metal-topped bar with bar stools. The drink & food On the food front, although it could be considered to be a little on the steep side, much of the fare is locally sourced and all prepared on site (including the sauces). There's a good, well thought-out wine list. It's open from 11am-11pm from Monday to Thursday and till one am on Friday and Saturday. There's lots of people eating here in the evening with DJs pumping up the vibe after that. Beck's, Boddingtons and Staroparmen are all on draught. The last word An all-embracing bar where you can get a cappuccino in the morning, a meal in the day and a drink in the evening.
