The venue Vying for trade with its competitors on Dyke Road is one of Brighton's Tim Drums. The cafe-bar is modern and relaxing in feel with its leather sofas and wooden tables. It's particularly busy at lunchtime with office workers and locals and is child-friendly, so good for mothers too (there are colouring books and pens available). Food is served from 10am to 10pm on Saturdays and from noon to 10pm on Fridays. The drink & food On draught The Tim Drum has Stella, Staropramen, Beck's Vier, Leffe, Boddington's, Guinness and Fransiskaner. It also specialises in Polish and Eastern European bottles (most of which are impossible to pronounce). There are also some of the best wines in Brighton, all sourced from an independent supplier. Food is an important part of the bar's offering and although it's quite pricey. The last word A good place to come for a glass of something (especially wine), but the food isn't cheap.
