Since opening this pub has gone from strength to strengh. There were initial grumblings in the village about the attitude of one of the bar staff but they seem to have overcome this. They were also a bit on the mean side with vegatables - but once again they now offer better value for money. Very much a locals pub, you can pop in for a roast or just sit and have a glass of wine whilst reafding the papers. The food is deliciuos and freshly cooked. Kemptown has needed a decent gastropub for yonks - weve now got it!!!!
