The venue Previously The London To Brighton Hog, The World's End is a large pub on London Road near Preston Circus. It combines traditional décor—bare wood and brick, stone flooring, stained glass and bookshelves—with contemporary touches such as an IT box, modern art and a beaded curtain around the chill-out area. The big screen shows classic movies as well as footie and there is a pool table as well as other games such as chess and carrom. There is a good drink selection, while the food is all locally sourced and made on the premises, with many meals costing less than a fiver. There's a weekly quiz and regular DJ and open mic nights, as well as a monthly Playstation competition.
