I chanced upon Caffe Aldo on my way back to the car park one day and made a mental note that it looked like a place I would want to try.

I did just that with a friend of mine and we were really impressed with the quality of the food and the friendly service. I have since been back several times and have had a good experience each time.

Tonight we are going for dinner with friends and taking our own wine as they do not have a licence at the moment.

I am looking forward to it as I know I am going to enjoy a very good meal with friends in a cosy atmosphere.

It looks very basic from the street, but Aldos will always have a special place in our hearts.
My partner and I popped in there on a whim and were not disappointed.
This is REAL Italian food, the type of thin Italian pizza you’d buy from a local café in Italy.
We agreed it was a true Italian experience.
Okay, it’s not as restauranty as Al Duomo, Pinnocchio, etc, but the quality speaks for itself.
I seriously recommend this place for eat in or take away.
The service is also friendly and superb.

You can always count on this place for a great breakfast and a coffee.
