I ate here 2 weeks ago and found it great value The squid starter was good and freshly cooked (my friend had the moules and they were lovely and v large portion) the main course pasta was the best I had tasted for a while. However it was mid week and they were quiet. I would say their price deal is hard to beat for Italian in Brighton and makes Pizza Express look like v poor value.

I visited Fat Leos for a meal on Bank Holiday Mon (30/05/2010) and was very disappointed with the service and food. We were seated and waited 15 mins for a menu that I had to request. The bruschetta was not authentic, but a hard over toasted baguette, the pizza's were stale ( I couldn't eat mine), the service was atrocious and to my horror the service charge was added to our bill. i questioned this and was told it's on the menu, but informed the staff I wasn't happy and was argued with and was told it wasn't alot and asked what my problem was! I didn't pay the service charge and wished I didn't have to pay for the bill at all! DO NOT GO THERE!

Great food; wonderful service.Given 20 of us turned up without a reservation Fat Leo's coped really well.

Prompt and pleasant service. A good range of choices. The Mozzarella, tomato and avocado salad was tops.

went to fat Leos for lunch today. I was dissapointed with the moules marinier. I mentioned to the waiter that the sauce was like water to which he responded it was supposed to look like that.

It was a watery consistency and tasteless.They did change it but I had to eat my chips before my new dish arrived.

They then brought the bill, which was actually someone elses bill and much more than ours should have been.

I would have expected them to have double checked the new bill before they brought it to us. We then found they still charged us extra for the chips.

It was supposed to be £4.95 for moules marinier and chips. It is surprising that so many mistakes could take place with one table.

Perhaps management needs to ensure such silly and costly mistakes to the customer aught to be spotted in time.

Especially when the cost of the meal i ordered was on the board outside.

We went for a big family meal here recently and it was wonderful. The staff were great witht the kids and the food was lovely.
