Ordered yet another take away from Kemp Thai - vegetable tempura was fresh and crispy (the way it should be), the Penang curry and sticky rice was amazing and full of flavour. I have many, many take aways and Kemp Thai is becoming one of my firm favourites. ps am loving the new menu - keep it up guys, you're serving great food.

A long wait for very bad food. We ordered a takeaway from here as we had very special guests and we had once got food from here when I was in hospital having my baby and thought it was good. The order took one hour and forty minutes. When we phoned to chase our order we were greeted by a very rude lady that told us that we should be happy to wait because people paid to have their food delivered all over town. Basically saying that the food was so good that we shouldn't complain about how long we had to wait. I even offered to go and pick it up because we had waited so long and at that point we were promised that it would be 15 minutes. Forty minutes later nothing so I called again to be greeted by annoyance that I had called back and lots of sighing and huffing and puffing. The funny thing is if they had bothered to call and be honest about the delay we would have understood. Unfortunately when the food got here it was awful. Unless they improve their attitude and food I would not recommend this Thai takeaway.

This little takeaway does the best Thai food in Brighton, and actually some of the best I've ever had outside Thailand itself. The ingredients are always incredibly fresh - really crisp, tasty vegetables - and the sauces are outstanding, incorporating blends of seasonings and herbs I've never managed to source here in the UK. They obviously choose their suppliers very carefully and have a very passionate chef!

The curries are my favourites, particularly their Jungle Curry which has a light, non-coconut based sauce that packs a real punch in terms of flavour - you simply won't find your generic, 'identikit' Thai food here. I've never been disappointed with a single dish I've ordered from their menu, and I'm thrilled to have them just around the corner from my home.

I was invted to friends for dinner afew weeks ago, she told me she decided not to cook but we'd have a take away, a little surprised at a dinner party invite to be greeted with a take away menu. what a wonderful meal! and know one had wash up!

Since then my boyfriend and I have ordered twice, each time trying something different and each time we were both delighted with the dishes.

Can't wait to order again!

On the way home just ordered a simple takeaway--red curry. Wouldn't normally have Thai as a takeaway. The meal was great---real ingredients cooked with real flavour.
Very pleasant, good value and friendly.
I'll be back!

This fab new take-away/delivery place has only been open a couple of weeks and we've already had 2 take-aways and will probably be going back for more this weekend!

I love the menu - it's so simple and easy to understand and the chef has introduced some fresh new ideas from different regions of Thailand. Refreshingly different - keep up the good work guys - you've got a regular here!!

Never really liked ordering Thai food as a takeaway as it never tasted like the restaurants versions but thought I would give kempThai a try as it was new. Firstly it was nice speaking to the English guy on the phone not being funny but it it's irritates me no end when I have to repeat myself when ordering. This was a pleasant surprise,

Didn't wait as long as he said for the delivery and straight away I could see it wasn't just crap stuffed into boxes. I had green thai curry (nicest one ever) and belly pork (s2) highly recommend it tasted sublime wished there was more. Presentation wise perfect ( although if you ask me alittle ott for takeaway but I really like the sentiment that it isn't just about liking the food) no complaints at all. Would I recommend defiantly and already have. Am I ordering again... Defiantly going to be one of my monthly take away haunts from now on.

Move over chinese cause kempthai just took ya spot.

Could not fault the food or the price, friendly staff and the delivery was fast and on time. Will be using this take away again and I have already told my friends and we are using them to provide the food for a party we are having in the coming week. Keep it up KempThai your new style food is a great assert to the area.

Was really looking forward to this new takeaway in Kemp Town. The new owners are friendly and keen, but sadly the main ingredient is missing. It may just be first week nerves but the food was dismal. The mix starter was a load of fried off bits of vegetable reeking of fat and tasteless and the stir fry was a total disappointment a few bits of chicken in a sluggish sauce.

I wish them luck but the food needs to improve to reflect the prices and the standard of food they are serving.
